Senior Sales Executive

The Senior Account Executive, Sales will develop and close new business opportunities within an assigned territory. This role will grow territory revenue by effectively managing and continuously feeding a sales pipeline/funnel of potential customers, identifying target customers for new sales, cross selling and up-selling with acquired customers, and engaging customer retention and contract renewal efforts within a defined geographic area. This role will be assigned an annual sales plan which will be measured on an ongoing basis to evaluate performance.

Principle Duties Responsibilities includes

  • Manage territory assignment and pipeline activity; participate in sales forecasting
  • Understanding the regulatory industry and continuous self-learning
  • Educating customers about our business solutions
  • Cold calling, generating new leads and prospecting accounts
  • Scheduling product demonstrations with qualified prospects
  • Using CRM to track progress and report goals
  • Report weekly on sales activities
  • Up-to-date understanding of competitors’ activities and competitive offerings
  • Up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly KPI targets

Mandatory Skills and Attributes

  • Love cold calling and speaking to prospects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Self-motivated person who can produce results with minimal oversight
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills when dealing with clients, team members, and management
  • Thrives in a rapid-paced environment
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet timelines
  • Comfortable with using and learning (self-learning) new web-based solutions
  • Ability to present to C-level and senior-level executives, as well as communicate well to internal and inter-departmental associates
  • Proven ability to personally close enterprise-level deals


  • University degree (BA)


  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in software sales
